Robotek Grand Tournament is an international robotics championship for school students. The goal of the tournament is to identify and support talented children in the fields of robotics, engineering, and programming, while promoting technical professions among youth. It also aims to draw public and governmental attention to the importance of technical education.

The Robotek Grand Tournament 2025 will feature competitions in 7 categories.
- Robotek (year of birth 2012-2016)
- Race on the reverse line (year of birth 2012-2016)
- Delivery robot (year of birth 2012-2016)
- Mergen (year of birth 2008-2011)
- Flag delivery (year of birth 2008-2011)
- Sorting robot (year of birth 2008-2011)
- RoboBasketball (year of birth 2008-2016)
The tournament will host the strongest teams from 17 regions of Kazakhstan, 3 cities of national significance, and international participants. In total, over 350 school students will take part.
Championship organizers:
- The Republican scientific and practical center «Daryn»
- Center for Identification and Support of Gifted Children and Talented Youth «Astana Daryny» of the Akimat of Astana
- The Robotics School “Robotek”
Registration
- The regional selection stages will be held with the support of the RSPC «Daryn» regional centers until
February 1, 2025. - Regional centers RSPC «Daryn» should send the list of teams that received 1st place in the regional qualifying stages to rgt@robotek.kz until February 16, 2025 (see the sample application form).
- The Organizing Committee of the Championship examines applications for compliance with the requirements of the Championship Regulations by February 28, 2025 and decides on the admission of teams to the competition. These decisions are final and not subject to appeal. By March 7, 2025, the list of teams participating in the final competitions will be published on the official website.
- Once teams are approved for participation, the Organizers will add the responsible team representatives to the Championship’s Telegram channel. In this channel, additional forms will be provided for completion (including parental consent forms for participation, accompaniment, and personal data processing, consent forms for adult participants regarding participation and personal data processing, safety rules acknowledgment forms, to be signed by the official representatives of participants or by the participants themselves if they are adults)
- All competition participants and accompanying persons must carry identity documents and present them during registration.
- Teams that fail to provide the required documents will not be allowed to compete.
